Dog Days of Sports

The NBA Finals and Stanley Cup have come to a close. JJ Spaun just won the US Open. Now what?

Welcome to the dog day of sports. One could argue that this is the most miserable stretch of time for the sports world as it gets. No football, basketball, or hockey to fill your schedule. Nothing to look forward to. Nothing to get you through your work week.

It’s time to lean on what we have – MLB, The Open Championship, and any training camp report that fill your mind with unwarranted optimism for your local sports team.

Playing at Royal Portrush Golf Club (same place Shane Lowry won at). It’s hard not to love the top of the board. Scottie and Rory – You can easily make a case for either of them. They also both played well at the Travelers Championship.

So who do we like?

Have to love Rory in this spot. He’s at +950 and the value is there. He’s finally conquered the mountain that is, The Masters. He’s playing great (he had a down week at Oakmont). Not to mention – He’s from Ireland. Home crowd baby!

Go for the hometown kid – Rory at +950

Hammer it!
